Once upon a time, there were three people named Kana, Emily, and Daniel. They were homeless and lived in cardboard boxes on the side of the street. One day, a guy named Will Rhoder came and stole their cardboard boxes. Kana, Emily, and Daniel were so mad they decided to kill him. How dare he take their homes! They started to scheme a plan.
I was walking down the street one day when I heard the three scheming. Will Rhoder was my brother I lived with and I did not want him dead. I invited them to my house for a nice Thanksgiving dinner; however, my real plan was to get them to stop planning to kill him. They agreed.
When we got to my house, I got straight to the point and told them not to kill Will.
“Why?” asked Kana, “He stole our lovely homes!”
“Yeah! Kill! Kill!” Emily and Daniel chanted.
“No, no!” I screamed. “No killing!”
“But why!”
“Because,” I said as I went to Will’s bedroom and brought him into the room, “we are not people!” Then, Will and I pulled on a zipper on the top of our heads and zipped off our costumes, revealing us as two harmless frogs.
“What the heck?” Emily remarked as she blatantly stared at our green bumpy flesh.
So, I told Will in Spanish that we should probably go. We hopped out the door and into the pond down the street.
“What the heck?” exclaimed Daniel.
“I do not know, but let’s live in their house.”
So they did. Kana, Emily, and Daniel lived happily ever after.
Until, one day three years later, Kana heard a knock on the door. She went to answer it and saw a frog carrying a machine gun.
“Say hello to my little friend,” said Will. He promptly shot all of them. “That is what you get for living in my house for three years. La venganza es dulce.”
